It is respectfully announced that in order to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2015, the following guidelines for commemorating the 70th Anniversary are hereby submitted:
1. Theme and Logo
a. The theme of the commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia is:
“LET’S WORK”
b. The logo for the 70th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia as attached.
c. The theme and logo of the commemoration should be reproduced to be distributed to staff/community in their respective regions.
2. Main events at Malang City level:
a. Honor Roll Call and Sacred Reflection, held on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at 24.00 WIB. At the Suropati Heroes Cemetery, Malang.
b. Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence and the Raising of the Red and White Flag Ceremony, Monday, August 17, 2015 at 10.00 WIB. in the front yard of Malang City Hall.
c. Flag Lowering Ceremony, Monday, August 17, 2015 at 17.00 WIB. in the front yard of Malang City Hall.
3. Organizing events at agencies/units/Perti/Schools/communities should pay attention to:
a. On August 15, 2015, the people in the regions are requested to follow the live broadcast of the President's State Address via radio or television.
b. On August 17, 2015, a Red and White Flag Raising Ceremony will be held at every agency/unit/university campus/school.
c. The implementation of events to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia based on the predetermined theme and logo, celebrated in a lively and solemn manner, with the aim of saving as much money as possible and taking into account the local situation and conditions.
d. The celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia should be used as a momentum as a means of education and entertainment for the people.
e. The organization of entertainment events is not only centered in the city, but spreads to sub-districts and villages, so that people in the village areas can enjoy and participate optimally.
f. The organizing committee must coordinate with security elements/apparatus in every entertainment event held so that the entire event can run smoothly, neatly, orderly, safely and regularly.
g. Encourage as much community initiative and creativity as possible in organizing commemorative events and prioritize regional/traditional entertainment, so that the essence of the commemoration from the community, by the community and for the community can truly be realized.
4. Carrying out community service activities, painting fences / berms / gates / buildings / offices in their respective environments so that they look clean and beautiful.
5. Installing pennants / penjor / lanterns the placement of which is arranged in such a way that it does not disturb the aesthetics and public interest starting from the date 1 to 31 August 2015.
6. In accordance with Article 7 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 24 of 2009 concerning the Flag, Language and National Emblem, as well as the National Anthem, all members of the public, government agencies and private institutions are required to fly the Red and White Flag for 5 (five) consecutive days starting from the date August 14, 2015 to August 18, 2015 (the flag raising will be carried out from 06.00 WIB to 18.00 WIB).
This must be carried out with full responsibility.
