Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton pays special attention to the outskirts of Malang City in order to achieve equitable development in Malang City. Like in Mulyorejo Village, Sukun District, the Mayor of Malang who is often called Abah Anton came down directly to provide assistance, Tuesday (4/8).
The assistance was distributed to elementary schools and kindergartens under the auspices of the Restu Ibu Foundation in RW 5 RT 7 Mulyorejo Village and also assistance in the form of paving was given to the management of the Al-Hidayah Supit Urang Mosque RT 5 RW 2 Mulyorejo Village.
Abah Anton expressed his deep impression of the sincerity of the Restu Ibu Foundation RW 5 RT 7 Mulyorejo Village in educating students in the outskirts of Malang City. Even with limited funds, this foundation continues to educate children so that they can become intelligent and independent children.
"There is no problem with aid being given to the private sector, because the Restu Ibu Foundation is really serious about educating children from disadvantaged backgrounds," explained Abah Anton, Tuesday (4/8).
Before providing assistance, Abah Anton admitted that he often went around by himself on a motorbike to see which areas in Malang City still needed assistance. That way he wanted to be able to provide more optimal services to the community, especially the poor and needy.
For the paving assistance to the Al-Hidayah Mosque, Abah Anton admitted that this was done after seeing firsthand the condition of the mosque which really needed help. Incidentally, the paving was already there, just need to send it to the location so that when it rains later the road access to the mosque will be good. (cah/yon)
