Appearing convincingly since the first match of the 2015 Danrem Cup Football Tournament driven by Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, PS Jagung Malang successfully advanced to Surabaya to participate in the Pangdam Cup. In the final match of the 2015 Danrem Cup, PS Jagung successfully defeated PS AD Bondowoso with a score of 3-1 (1-1) at Gajayana Stadium, Thursday (6/8).
The first goal of PS Jagung representing Kodim 0833 Malang City was created by Banggi in the 8th minute, Robi in the 63rd minute, and M. Ridwan in the 77th minute. Meanwhile, one goal for PS AD was scored by Yesa Wahyu in the 7th minute.
PS Jagung player, M. Ridwan expressed his joy over PS Jagung's success in winning the Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya Commander's Cup. This success cannot be separated from the compactness and hard work of the players who have been fighting so hard since the tournament was launched.
"We are proud to be champions in Malang. We hope this continues when PS Jagung appears in the Pangdam Cup," said Mamat, M. Ridwan's nickname, Thursday (6/8).
Kasrem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Lieutenant Colonel Kav. Susanto Dwi Asmara admitted that he was relieved that the Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya Commander's Cup Football Tournament could be a success. With this activity, he hopes that it can be a contribution to advancing Indonesian football.
