In this surprise inspection (sidak), the most important thing is that the street vendors have an ID card as their identity card, either Malang or outside Malang. Later, the Malang City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) will follow up by holding a justice operation. However, yesterday's inspection was more about checking and socializing.

Head of Dispendukcapil Malang City, Dra. Metawati Ika Wardani, M.Si said that her party only conducted administrative checks on population data. "For residents who still have Siak ID cards, we urge you to immediately take care of your Electronic ID card as soon as possible," said the woman in the hijab, Monday (10/8).

"For street vendors in Malang City who already have or do not have an ID card, we also socialize the importance of an ID card for every citizen. We also convey that an ID card can be processed at the local sub-district office and for residents who are 50 years old can get an ID card for life," added Meta.

Meanwhile, for Malang City residents who do not yet have an ID card, he continued, they are required to fill out a statement letter containing their willingness to take care of an ID card, a maximum of 14 days ahead, starting from yesterday's inspection. "We hope that residents can comply with this appeal and in the future there will be no more Malang City residents who do not have an ID card," Meta emphasized. (say/yon)
