The MFC event successfully brought the name of Malang City to the international world. In the last few years, Malang City was appointed to represent Indonesia in international events. For example, to Hong Kong, Japan and China, all of which Malang City also received awards. The Best Performance.

In addition, with the existence of this (MFC) event, it also boosts tourist visits to Malang City by ten percent. In the future, Malang City will continue to intensify events arts and culture so that it will continue to increase tourist visits.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Malang City Culture and Tourism Agency (Disbudpar), Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni, SH, M.Si to journalists after the 2015 MFC event. According to her, this year's event was a little different from the previous ones, because it involved many participants from among children.

"We deliberately involve children, so that when there is event for adults, they are ready and can follow it. In the future, we will continue to strive to improve the quantity and quality of the implementation," added Ida, Sunday (23/8).

Meanwhile, the Assistant Deputy for Business and Government Market Segment Development of the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, Tazbir, SH, M.Hum who attended the event said that his party was very proud of Malang City. "The arts and culture of this city (Malang) have been known since the Dutch era, and this is proven by the many historical relics," he explained.

According to the Ministry of Tourism's program, in increasing tourist visits, each region must have superior potential that can be sold. "Not only at the national level, but also in the eyes of the international community, the region is the spearhead," explained Tazbir.

"If a region has a high selling value, especially in the tourism world, then not only the local community, foreign citizens who happen to be in an area can also enjoy it. We hope that later foreigners will deliberately come to an area to see the arts and culture," concluded Tazbir. (say/yon)
