Sukun, MC - The 70th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia commemorated by the people of Malang City received special attention from the Mayor of Malang. This was seen when the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton attended a healthy walk held by Kebonsari Village, Sukun District, Malang City, Sunday (23/8).
The presence of the Mayor of Malang, who is often called Abah Anton, was greeted with enthusiasm by the residents of Kebonsari Village. Residents who had gathered since 06.00 WIB spontaneously lined up neatly at the starting line to wait for the ceremonial departure of the healthy walk by Abah Anton.
Abah Anton admitted that he was happy to be able to come to Kebonsari Village and to lead the healthy walk which was attended by so many participants who looked so enthusiastic. This activity is expected to further enliven the commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia and can also make the community healthier. "Not only can it be healthy, with a healthy walk like this it can be a good means of friendship between the ranks of the Malang City Government and the community," explained Abah Anton, Sunday (23/8).
Abah Anton added, with the existence of good relations, it is hoped that good communication will be established between the government and the people. From that capital, of course, it will be better to jointly develop the city of Malang.
Meanwhile, Sulastri, a resident of Kebonsari Village, said she was happy with the existence of a healthy walk event like this. She came with her family to enjoy togetherness on Sundays which is usually difficult to get because of each person's work routine. (cah/yon)
