Educating the spirit of nationalism and patriotism so that it is always embedded from an early age among new students (maba), Malang State Polytechnic (Polinema) held a training (education and training_ed). National insight education was given directly by a team from Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Saturday (29/8).

In the closing of the training at Rampal Field, Malang City, as many as 2.685 new students were declared to have passed the discipline and national insight training. Director of Polinema Ir. Tundung Subali Patma, MT led the closing of the activity.
Tundung admitted that he was grateful that all 2.685 participants who attended the discipline and national insight training were able to graduate. This education is very important for new students at Polinema to be more disciplined, confident and have a high love for the nation and state. "We divided the training into three waves, each wave for one week. So Polinema held training for new students for three weeks," explained Tundung, Saturday (29/8).
This discipline training, he added, is a routine agenda carried out by Polinema considering the importance of discipline in carrying out lectures. In this way, Polinema wants to equip students with intelligence and discipline that are very important later when entering the world of work.
Meanwhile, Danrem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf. Fajar Setyawan, S.IP said that through this activity it is hoped that it can foster the spirit of nationalism and patriotism of students so that they are not easily infiltrated by ideologies that are not in accordance with the nation's ideology.
"The activity held by Polinema is very important for students. We hope that it is not only Polinema that does it, and can be followed by 58 other universities in Malang City," Fajar emphasized.
This training activity involved 173 members of the Indonesian Army to train all Polinema new students. For three weeks, the new students were provided with various materials, such as national insight and Pancasila, and were trained in discipline through marching exercises and outbound. (cah/yon)
