Head of the Malang City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office Drs. Imron, M.Ag opened the peak event of the anniversary celebration of the State Elementary School (MIN) Malang 1. The celebration was filled with a walking activity attended by thousands of participants, art performances, and also a bazaar, Sunday (13/9).

Before ending the healthy walk activity, Imron expressed his hope that on MIN Malang 1's 37th birthday, it would be more successful, achieve more achievements, and educate students according to religious teachings.
"I would like to express my gratitude to the parents and teachers who have supported the realization of the vision and mission at MIN Malang 1. Hopefully MIN Malang 1 will be more successful and achieve," hoped Imron, Sunday (13/9).
After the fun walk, students and parents were invited to enjoy the entertainment stage that had been prepared in the school yard. Various artistic creations were displayed, even several teachers and the Principal of MIN Malang 1 who were members of the Fals Band also showed their skills in playing music and singing.
The Head of MIN Malang 1, H. Abdul Mughni, S.Ag, M.Pd said that the celebration of the 37th anniversary of MIN Malang 1 had actually been held since last week with various activities. Among them were thanksgiving and familygathering which is filled with competitions participated by students and parents.
"I hope that at the age of 37, the entire MIN Malang 1 community will be more solid in realizing the vision and mission of the madrasah and will be more enthusiastic in welcoming and implementing all changes including the implementation of the 2013 curriculum," said Mughni.
He also expressed his gratitude to the parents who have supported the students' activities and to the Malang City Ministry of Religion Office which has provided guidance and motivation. At this special moment, MIN Malang 1 also received a special gift in the form of achievements from the students.
Among them is one of the students who passed the event International Mathematic and Science Olympiad (IMSO), nine students who passed the Porprov (Provincial Sports Week) and are currently undergoing training to participate in the national level event. In addition, there is also one student who won a silver medal in the Madrasah Science Competition (KSM).
"Hopefully the achievement gift will further motivate the students and in the future MIN Malang 1 will carve out more achievements. More than that, hopefully MIN Malang 1 will be able to produce a generation that is smart, pious and pious," he concluded. (cah/yon)
