The biennial 'Clean Village' event held by Balearjosari Village, Blimbing District, Malang City at the Sumbersuko RW 3 field was lively, Sunday (11/10). In the series of events for the 'Clean Village' of Balearjosari Village, residents held ask for forgiveness and a grand religious study on October 3, 2015. Meanwhile, the event at Sumbersuko field this time began with a healthy walk.

Hundreds of residents were very enthusiastic about participating in this event, and the local committee provided a total prize of Rp 20 million consisting of various goods and cash. The main prize provided in the event which was enlivened by dozens of bazaar stands was a motorbike.
From the youth also contributed various creativity, such as dance and colossal drama that tells the journey of King Ken Arok. The event was also attended by the Blimbing Sub-district Head, from the local Koramil and Polsek, as well as community leaders.
This village clean tradition, according to one of the committee, Saydun Mustofa, is an event that is not merely about cleaning the environment, but more about the welfare and harmony of the community. "With an event like this, it is hoped that the community can live side by side safely and peacefully," he explained, Sunday (11/10).
The same thing was also conveyed by Balearjosari Village Head, Ardi Novianto, SE. According to him, if the community lives in peace, then the development process and programs will be implemented as planned. "So far, the participation of residents in various matters has been good. And we will maintain it forever," he said.
The winners of the main prizes for the healthy walk in the form of cash were, first place was won by Gandi, a resident of Jl. Satria Barat RW 2, second place, Ratu AM, a resident of Jl. Pahlawan RW 2, and third place was won by Supriyono, a resident of RW 3. While big prize in the form of a motorbike unit won by Sute, a resident of RT 7 RW 2. The series of 'Clean Village' events will be continued on Wednesday (14/10) with a cultural parade and ludruk performance. (say/yon)
