Starting from the same hobby, namely farming, the Ngalam Sehat Community finally realized the dream of having a healthy village in Malang City. From a series of efforts and hard work, a healthy village was finally realized, located on Jl. Rajawali, Sukun District, Malang City, Monday (26/10).
In this healthy village, various kinds of organic products are sold, starting from organic vegetables, organic planting media, organic drinks, various kinds of processed organic spices, organic baby porridge, and so on. In this organic village, organic farming activities are also held which are now increasingly becoming a trend amidst the progress of the city.
Member of the Ngalam Sehat Community, Austina Luckyta, said that the healthy village activity has actually been held several times in Malang City. Among them are in the Ngujil area, the Sigura-gura area, Sawojajar and now it is being held on Jl. Rajawali.
"In this healthy village, various kinds of healthy organic agricultural products from Malang City and their processed products are sold. Don't forget there is also education for the community on how to live healthily," explained Kiki, Austina Luckyta's nickname, Monday (26/10).
After seeing the good enthusiasm of the participants and the community who like the existence of a healthy village, Kiki said that he would hold this activity regularly. Among them, on November 7, 2015, he plans to hold another healthy village on Jl. Rajawali with the theme Urban Farming.
Through this method, it is hoped that people with even the narrowest land can plant various useful and healthy plants. Moreover, it can be a profitable business based on organic farming that is very environmentally friendly. (cah/yon)
