Bedhol Bhawikarsu 2015 is a pattern of educational approach that emphasizes learning about environmental and social concerns, with the result that a comprehensive national insight is built.
Bedhol Bhawikarsu is an annual activity of SMAN 3 Malang held in the middle of the odd semester since 2002. This activity aims to bring all elements of SMAN 3 Malang closer to the community in rural areas for three days and two nights. This activity is filled with social services in the form of providing assistance, counseling, education and free health checks.
This was stated by the Principal of SMAN 3 Malang, Hj. Asri Widiapsari when releasing 987 students in grades X, XI and XII as participants of Bedhol Bhawikarsu, Saturday (31/10). The Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, released and sent off the participants directly.
According to Asri, with this activity, it will increase the knowledge and maturity of the students, so that they are more prepared when they are in the middle of society. "This activity will also form a better character of children in the future," he explained, Saturday (31/10).
The students departed for Dusun Yitnan, Tlogosari Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency as the target of the activity. The Mayor of Malang, who is familiarly called Abah Anton, advised the students to understand that this activity is not a pleasure but a form of devotion.
"Therefore, children must be able to provide the best service to the community there. In the midst of the spread of individual game patterns as an impact of IT progress such as online game, playstation, and so on, children must be accustomed to strong social interactions," added the PKB politician.
Later, continued Abah Anton, these children are expected to be able to provide positive contributions to the school and Malang City in various aspects. "They will know how to live in society which will be an important lesson for them," he explained. (say/yon)
