Klojen, MC – More than 500 bicycle enthusiasts and Malang City residents enlivened Ngalam Mancal which was held by the Malang City Cleanliness and Parks Service, Sunday (15/11).
"This is positive and must be cultivated. In addition to building a healthy lifestyle, this activity is also a forum for mutual friendship and a clean living (environment) campaign," said the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton when releasing and participating in Ngalam Mancal with Umi Farida.
He added that this event is expected to provide entertainment and make the community healthy. "Cycling is a light and cheap sport, so it can be followed by all groups. Let's always do sports so that our minds are also healthy, so that we can work comfortably," appealed the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton.
Head of Malang City Marine Affairs and Fisheries Service, Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT added that the fun cycling activity with a distance of 12 km was also marked by a social action to clean the environment in Merjosari Park and the removal of nails from trees.
"Through this cycling we also clean the environment, so I think this program is very appropriate and interesting for many parties. In the future we will increase similar activities so that Malang City remains clean and healthy," added Erik.
Ngalam Mancal who took start and finish in Merdeka Square, Malang City, it was concluded with musical entertainment in the square area which further strengthened the comfortable public space and provided joy. (say/yon)
