Jakarta, MC – Since it was held from 2005 to 2015, Malang City has never failed to win the Swasti Saba (Healthy City Award). This is certainly a source of pride for Malang City.
Malang City has received the Swasti Saba Award six times. And in 2015, the highest predicate (Swasti Saba Wistara) was obtained by the city that has proclaimed itself as a Dignified City.
As reported by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, the health award event held every two years is divided into three strata, namely Swasti Saba Padapa (bronze), Swasti Saba Wiwerda (silver) and Swasti Saba Wistara (gold).
Given in conjunction with the 51st National Health Day in 2015, the Swasti Saba Wistara award was received directly by the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, Friday night (27/11) at the Auditorium of the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta.
"Institutionalizing a healthy lifestyle culture not only from a physical and environmental perspective, but also from a behavioral perspective, including in the school environment, is one of the keys and... entry point for the awarding of Swasti Saba Wistara to the City of Malang," said the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton after receiving the award.
He added that 2015 was the peak of Malang City's achievements in the health sector, because before this Malang City only achieved the Wiwerda level. Malang City has successfully won the Swasti Saba Wistara award which is the highest level award in the health sector.
"By obtaining Swasti Saba Wistara, namely at the development stage, Malang City must be able to maintain it. It is not easy to maintain an achievement. Therefore, support and involvement of all parties are needed," concluded the PKB Politician. (say/yon)
