Kedungkandang, MC – The 70th Ministry of Religious Affairs' Charity Day (HAB) in 2016 fell on January 3. In Malang City, the HAB Kemenag commemoration ceremony was held at the State Middle School (MTsN) 2 Malang. In this ceremony, the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton acted as the ceremony inspector, Sunday (3/1).

In addition to being attended by the Mayor of Malang, the 70th HAB of the Ministry of Religious Affairs was also attended by the Head of the Malang City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office Drs. H. Imron, M.Ag, Heads of Elementary Madrasahs, Junior High Madrasahs, Senior High Madrasahs, teaching and non-teaching staff, and high-ranking officials of the Malang City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office.
In this ceremony, the Mayor of Malang read the speech of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Lukman Hakim Syaifuddin who reviewed the history of the journey of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, hopes and also actions that must be taken to realize the strengthening of the mental revolution initiated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia. A clean and serving Ministry of Religious Affairs is the theme carried in the 2016 Charity Day.
"At the age of 70, it is hoped that the Ministry of Religious Affairs can work optimally and prioritize mutual cooperation in its performance. The Ministry of Religious Affairs must also improve services to the community through the increasingly advanced information and technology system. Thus, from all of that, it is hoped that it can suppress acts of corruption and various acts of indiscipline," explained the man who is often called Abah Anton while quoting the speech of the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs.
Likewise in Malang City, the PKB politician also appealed to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and other agencies under the auspices of the Malang City Government in particular to be transparent public servants. "The government and civil servants are public servants, so it is only natural that they serve the public well," added Abah Anton.
The same thing was also conveyed by the Head of the Malang City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, Drs. H. Imron, M.Ag who said that his party will always provide the best to the community. "We will also always support and make the Malang City Government's work program a success for the progress and development of this city," he explained.
At the end of the ceremony, the Mayor of Malang and the Head of the Malang City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office were asked to present trophies, certificates and medals obtained by students and educators in the Malang City Ministry of Religious Affairs work environment, both at regional, national and international levels.
