Yesterday, Tuesday (12/1), these above-average students underwent a test or practice under the supervision of Honda. The test, which was carried out in one of the school's practice rooms, was divided into several groups. Each group consisted of three children who were given one hour to carry out the practice test.

Uman Widodo, one of the representatives from Honda said that these children checked various parts of the car, such as brake pads, oil, tires, and several other important parts, so that the car is safe and comfortable when driven. These students will later intern at several Honda workshops in East Java, Bali and East Nusa Tenggara.

So far, he said, the abilities of SMKN 10 Malang City students are good and worthy of working in Honda workshops. In this practice, supervision was also assisted by two teachers from the school.

"After a 3-4 month internship, these students will be supervised by Honda. Whether they can do all the tasks given and also be assessed in terms of discipline. If they cannot fulfill it, then it is possible that they will be disqualified and fail to become Honda employees," added Uman, Tuesday (12/1).

Meanwhile, one of the supervising teachers from SMKN 10, Sayit Anwar said that during the internship, these children are still students and must continue to study well. "We will provide them with several textbooks and other supporting books. When the exams are held, they must return to school," he explained.

Sayit added, although they were recruited to work before graduating from school, but before they were declared to have graduated, their status was still an intern. "When they take the national exam and are declared to have passed, then they can become company employees," he explained.

Separately, one of the students who participated in yesterday's practice, Danang Suhartatok, admitted that he was happy because he could enter the top 17 to become a Honda employee. "I am happy and want to make my parents happy. In addition, I want to achieve my dream as a reliable mechanic in a big company," he said. (say/yon)
