Klojen, MC – In order to produce reliable archiving staff in carrying out their duties, the Malang City Public Library and Regional Archives Office held Technical Guidance on Archives Management in 2016 at the Trio Indah 2 Hotel, Malang City, Wednesday (10/2).
Present as a speaker in this activity was Wahyu Setyawan SH. MH from the East Java Province Public Library and Archives Agency. This event also invited speakers from the Head of the Archives Unit of Brawijaya University, Dr. Hamidah Nur Nayati, S.Sos, M.Si.
Assistant for General Administration of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Yudhi K. Ismawardi, SH, M.Hum said that this activity is very important to improve human resources (HR) for archiving in the Malang City Government. The activity was attended by 102 participants from the sub-districts and districts in Malang City.
"Sukun Village is an example of a good village in managing archives. This is proven by Sukun Village receiving an award," explained Yudhi, Wednesday (10/2).
Archival management is so important because archives are authentic and legitimate evidence of data. Where in Indonesia currently archive management is still weak and needs to be continuously improved. (cah/yon)
