Several residents of Klojen Subdistrict, especially the elderly, received blessings from the woman who is familiarly called Umi Farida, who spontaneously gave them gifts.

Walking through the narrow alleys that are typical of the villages in the city center, the Mayor of Malang, accompanied by the Malang City Police Chief and the Dandim 0833 Baladhika Jaya, also had the opportunity to have a direct dialogue with residents.

One of the complaints of the residents of Klojen Village is the existence of several settlements located around the railway line whose land is owned by PT. KAI.

The residents' anxiety over their housing status illustrates that they are actually aware that at any time the land could be used by PT. KAI which automatically means they will have to move.

Of course, this will also be a concern for the Malang City Government, and therefore residents can actually take advantage of the existence of flats (rusun) that have been built and provided by the government, as conveyed by the number one person in the Malang City Government.

What was conveyed by the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton also answered the residents' questions about the possibility that they would be moved. He added that the existence of the flats was indeed intended for residents who were in locations that were considered to have potential for vulnerability, such as housing in the River Basin Area (DAS).
