Lowokwaru, MC – Supporting efforts to improve student health to be better, SMA Negeri 8 Malang has a great breakthrough. The school located on Jl. Veteran No. 37 Malang City inaugurated the School Health Service (UKS) room with various complete facilities, Saturday (20/2).
Coinciding with the 43rd Anniversary of SMAN 8 Malang, the inauguration of the UKS room and also the inauguration of the multimedia room felt more special because it was directly carried out by the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton. In addition to being equipped with a general poly room, the UKS room of SMAN 8 Malang is also equipped with a complete dentist room like in hospitals in general.
H. Moch. Anton admitted that he was pleased with the construction of the UKS room at SMAN 8 Malang which would clearly help students to live healthier. This is an example for other schools in Malang City to be able to build a healthy generation.
"We are proud of what SMAN 8 Malang has done. Frankly, this is very much needed by the school," explained the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton, Saturday (20/2).
The existence of UKS in SMAN 8 Malang which is handled well is very much in line with the government's program to create a healthy city. "This is very good, because a healthy lifestyle is built since school," said Abah Anton.
The principal of SMAN 8 Malang M. Sulthon, M.Pd said that the construction of the UKS room and multimedia room aims to maximize the education given to students. Not only equipped with complete facilities, UKS at SMAN 8 Malang City is also handled by experienced doctors.
"For the medical staff, we use many alumni who will take turns helping with health care at the school," explained Sulthon. (cah/yon)
