Klojen, MC – In order to better introduce and bring the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) closer to the community regarding various matters, the Regional Economy and Business Section of the Malang City Regional Secretariat held Workshop Improving the Quality of PDAM Malang City Services in 2016, Wednesday night (24/02).

The event held at Same Hotel Malang was attended by all LPMK (Community Empowerment Institutions in the City of Malang. Head of the Economic and Regional Business Section of Malang City, Dra. Rinawati, MM said that good service from PDAM is very much needed by the community.
"Actually, so far the service of PDAM Kota Malang has been good, and in the future it will be improved again. Therefore, this must be known by the community who are also consumers of PDAM. Through the LPMK representative, what services are provided by PDAM can be conveyed to the community," added the bespectacled woman, Wednesday (24/2).
Meanwhile, Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton targeted that PDAM Malang City could complete the 100-0-100 program introduced by the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing in 2017. This was emphasized even though the program should have been achieved in 2019. The 100-0-100 program is a target to achieve 100% access to drinking water, 0% slum areas, and 100% access to proper sanitation.
"To achieve the target is very possible, and one of them is with maximum service. With all that, it will automatically reduce complaints from the public. Moreover, currently technology is sophisticated, so that any complaint can be immediately submitted by the public," added the man who is often called Abah Anton.
He added that Malang City is one of the cities that is pilot project in various matters, including PDAM services. "Therefore, I emphasize again that PDAM continues to provide good services to the community," concluded Abah Anton. (say/yon)
