Commission I and III of Boyolali DPRD Learn RT-RW from Malang City Government

Klojen, MC – The Malang City Government received a working visit (kunker) from Commission I and III of the Boyolali Regency DPRD, Thursday (25/2). This working visit was in order to discuss licensing and city planning so that Boyolali Regency would be better in the future.

This working visit was attended by 31 people from the guest group and SKPD (Regional Work Unit) within the Malang City Government. The Assistant for Development Administration of the Malang City Secretariat, Ir. Budi Herwanto, MT received the working visit group in the Majapahit Room, Malang City Hall.

The Regional Spatial Planning (RT-RW) document is very important because it is the result of planning the structural form and optimal spatial utilization patterns. For the Malang City area, the policies formulated in this document are the basis for special development strategies.

The development in question, both relates to more detailed spatial planning and sectoral activity plans such as trade areas, industry, settlements, as well as public and social facilities.

This was conveyed by Budi while reading the speech of the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton, Thursday (25/2). He added that Malang City has had Regional Regulation Number 4 of 2011 concerning the Malang City Spatial Planning Plan for 2010–2030.

"The regulation designs a detailed spatial plan consisting of six detailed city spatial plans and a strategic socio-cultural area plan which will be very necessary as an operational basis in granting spatial utilization permits," he added.

Lambang Saroso, SE, Chairman of Commission III of the Boyolali Regency DPRD introduced Boyolali Regency and explained the purpose and objectives of his visit. "We want to sharing related to RT-RW in regional spatial planning to be used as evaluation material for the Regional Regulation on existing city planning in Boyolali," he explained.

After exchanging souvenirs, the working visit continued with an interactive dialogue session. Many guests asked about what good city planning in Malang City is like. (say/yon)
