Kedungkandang, MC – The increasing number of young people who are trapped in drug abuse (narcotics and dangerous drugs/materials_ed) is a special concern for SMK Negeri 9 Malang. In collaboration with the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) and the BNN (National Narcotics Agency_ed) of Malang City, the school located in the eastern end of Malang City conducted socialization about the dangers of drugs, Tuesday (1/3).
Not only giving a message about the dangers of drug abuse, the team from Ponpes Bahrul Maghfiroh and BNN Malang City also entertained the students by playing music. With this socialization, it is hoped that no more SMKN 9 Malang students will fall into drug abuse.
Deputy Principal of SMKN 9 Malang, Ana Siti Chotimah revealed that so far her party has often collaborated with Ponpes Bahrul Maghfiroh to educate students. This includes guiding children so that they do not fall into drug abuse.
"Our hope with this activity is to increase students' insight so that they can truly avoid drug abuse," explained Ana, Tuesday (1/3).
Ana also hopes that this socialization can be conveyed to students who number approximately 800 students. And when they return to their respective homes, the students of SMKN 9 Malang can provide good education to their families and the surrounding environment. (cah/yon)
