This scholarship is given to the children of the victims from kindergarten to high school, where the amount of assistance has been determined in advance for each victim's family. For the handover of compensation for the family of (the late) Myr. Ivy Safatillah was represented by her parents, (the late) Saiful or Mrs. S. Kandaina who was also on the same plane as Myr. Ivy was represented by his wife.
Meanwhile, widow Umi Kulsum, widow Istibsarah, widow Wiwid, widow Diyah Wulandari, widow of Sergeant Major Bambang, and widow of Agus were represented by Major Ari Susiono from Squadron 32.
