Klojen, MC – To ensure the implementation of the Computer-Based National Examination (UNBK) in Malang City runs smoothly, Tuesday (5/4) Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton accompanied by the Head of the Malang City Education Office (Disdik) Dra. Zubaidah, MM conducted direct monitoring to three schools. The schools visited were SMKN 1, SMAN 2 and SMAK St Albertus Malang. In this group, representatives from PLN and Telkom as network providers also participated.

According to the number one person in the Malang City Government, from the results of direct monitoring in general there were no obstacles whatsoever. Even the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton had time to ask students during break time about how to work on exam questions. As a result, most students admitted that they were fluent and could work on the questions well.
In addition to ensuring the smooth implementation of UNBK, Abah Anton also ensured about the electricity and internet network. Regarding this, the school has anticipated by providing generator (generator set_red) and backup computers. "The school has anticipated the worst possible outcome in the implementation of UNBK. However, so far there have been no obstacles," explained the PKB politician.
He added that there was only one student at SMKN 4 and SMKN 1 Malang who could not take the exam because he was suffering from dengue fever. However, the student will still be able to take the exam at another time. The day before, the Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji together with the Head of the Malang City Education Office also carried out direct monitoring which resulted in the same results, namely there were no significant problems.
Head of Malang City Education Office Dra. Zubaidah, MM hopes that the implementation of UNBK will run smoothly until the last day. "Long before the implementation of UNBK, we have coordinated with PLN and Telkom so that the implementation of this national exam runs smoothly and safely. Basically, both institutions are very supportive of the smooth implementation of UNBK so that everything goes according to plan," explained the woman in the hijab. (say/yon)
