Breadfruit, MC – The Malang Regional Coordination Agency (Bakorwil) for Government and Development held a gathering of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) for the entire Malang Bakorwil Working Area at the Ijen Suite Hotel Malang, Wednesday (27/4).
In his speech, Head of Bakorwil Malang Idrus Achmad said that this activity is an event to strengthen the relationship between each region in the Bakorwil Malang Work Area. It is hoped that this activity can further improve the coordination of activities in each region to continue to develop their potential.
"Many issues were discussed in this activity, starting from the problem of overcoming drugs, radicalism, security, tourism, MSMEs and the readiness of the community to undergo the ASEAN Economic Community," said Idrus, Wednesday (27/4).
Especially for the problem of drug abuse, he continued, it cannot only rely on the police and the BNN (National Narcotics Agency). It requires synergy and cooperation with various elements in society so that the problem of drug abuse can be resolved.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Drs. Sutiaji, welcomed the implementation of the Forkopimda gathering forum throughout the Malang Bakorwil Working Area. According to him, this activity can be a good coordination forum for Forkopimda in Malang and East Java.
