That was what was conveyed by the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton when giving a testimony at the launch of a book entitled 'Mendol Dari Malang Raya' by the Director of Jawa Pos Radar Malang, Kurniawan Muhammad at Taman Indie, Araya, Malang City, Monday (2/5) evening.

The Mayor of Malang, who is usually called Abah Anton, emphasized that constructive criticism from various elements, including the mass media, has allowed him to learn how to run the government well. Moreover, as Abah Anton said, he is not a mayor who has background (background_ed) bureaucrat, so continuing to learn and learn is the way he takes.

"The Minister of Home Affairs said that there are regional heads whose background is bureaucracy and some who are not, coincidentally I am not from the bureaucracy, so input is needed from all elements of society," said Abah Anton.

From these criticisms, suggestions and inputs, the number one person in Malang City continues to improve so that in the past three years, Malang City has achieved various achievements, and the latest (achievement of Malang City_ed) was receiving the best regional autonomy award in Indonesia.

"It is not easy for us to do that, an important part of democracy in the form of criticism is very important for the government," said the PKB politician.

On the occasion attended by Malang Regent Rendra Kresna, Danlanud Abdurachman Saleh Malang Marsma TNI RM. Joko Senoputro, and several community leaders, Abah Anton praised the synergy in Malang Raya, and saw that this area has quite a large potential. "Like in Malang Regency there are exotic beaches, in Malang City there are culinary," he said.

Meanwhile, Kurniawan Muhammad said, the book 'Mendol Dari Malang Raya' is a gift given to residents. Having background Journalist, Kurniawan admitted that he always wants to present something useful and beneficial to the public through writing.
