Malang, MC – The commemoration of Isra Mikraj 1437 Hijri which was held at the Baiturracman Mosque of the Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force Base (Lanud) Malang took place solemnly. Danlanud Abd. Saleh Marsma TNI H. RM. Djoko Senoputro, SE also attended the event, Wednesday (11/5).
The Air Force Base invited DR. KH. Zainur Roziqin to provide enlightenment to the residents of Abd. Saleh Air Force Base at the event. The event, which was attended by officials and members of Abd. Saleh Air Force Base along with Insub and members of PIA Ardhya Garini, began after the morning assembly.
In his speech, Danlanud Abd Saleh Marsma TNI H. RM. Djoko Senoputro, SE explained the wisdom of prayer as the second pillar of Islam which contains the values of obedience and compliance as Muslims to Allah SWT. These values will have a positive influence on everyone, including us as soldiers who must be devoted to God Almighty.
"Loyalty, obedience and compliance as well as such lifestyle habits are one of the main factors that underlie the morale, motivation and spirit of devotion of Sapta Marga soldiers for all state duties assigned to us," explained Marsma Djoko.
He added, through the commemoration of Isra Mikraj we should be able to move our reflection about how deep our devotion to Allah SWT is. If this is inherent in every soldier who is Muslim, God willing, the attitude of soldiers will be formed who are always aware that whatever task they face is essentially an act of worship.
Thus, the commemoration of Isra Mikraj is also a vehicle for self-evaluation and introspection on the level of faith, piety and quality of our service as Sapta Marga soldiers to be improved in the future.
Meanwhile, DR. KH. Zainur Roziqin explained three things that must be understood and implemented by the soldiers of Abd. Saleh Air Force Base, including friends who always accompany humans during their lives in the world, namely wealth that makes humans' spirit of life to always work hard based on worship and sincerity.
Second, soldiers should get used to working hard and straight, seeking good and lawful fortune. And the third is friends in the grave, namely good deeds. "Therefore, don't forget the five daily prayers and give alms," he advised.
At the same time, a joint Isra Mikraj commemoration by the TNI/Polri was also held at the Baiturrachman Mosque, Malang City Police, which was attended by the Commander of Wing 2, Abd. Saleh Air Force Base, Colonel Pnb Fairlyanto, ST along with several members of the Air Force Base and Insub, officials from Division 2 Kostrad, Brigif II Jabung, and also officials from Lanal Malang.
The event began with a speech by the Malang City Police Chief, AKBP Decky Hendarsono and continued with a religious lecture by the Rector of Unisma Malang, Prof. DR. H. Masykuri Bakri, M.Si.
In his speech, the Malang City Police Chief conveyed several messages to those present to always improve their faith, honesty and discipline as the theme of the event, namely 'Commemoration of the Isra Mikraj of the Great Prophet Muhammad SAW 1437 H/2016 as an Effort to Instill Faith, Honesty and Discipline to Realize the Mental Revolution of TNI/POLRI Members'.
