The following are the Guidelines for the Commemoration and Composition of the National Committee for the 108th National Awakening Day in 2016.

The theme of the 108th Anniversary of National Awakening is:
“CARVING THE MEANING OF NATIONAL REVIVAL WITH
REALIZING AN INDONESIA THAT WORKS REALLY, INDEPENDENTLY AND
CHARACTERISTIC”

In connection with this, it is hereby announced that the 108th National Awakening Day Commemoration in 2016 will be held as follows:
- The theme and logo should be disseminated to the community at the sub-district/village, RW and RT levels.
- The public, government agencies, down to the sub-district/village, RW and RT levels, as well as private institutions, are instructed to fly the Red and White Flag at full mast for 1 (one) day on the date 20 May 2016 starting at 06.00 to 18.00 WIB.
- Swadesi Week, starting on 16 to 19 May 2016 (four working days) wearing domestic products with batik/striped motifs as an expression of love for domestic products.
- Government/Private Agency/Service/Institution of BUMD, PTN, PTS of East Java Province to hold ceremonies in their respective environments on the date 20 May 2016 and other matters relating to the implementation of the intended commemoration may refer to commemorations from previous years.
