In the forum entitled 'Territorial Development in the Framework of Regional Alertness', Abah Anton also informed that in the near future his party will issue a circular containing an appeal to all agencies, both private and government agencies to stop all activities when the call to prayer sounds and immediately perform obligatory prayers in congregation.
This appeal is important, in addition to facing the Holy Month of Ramadan which will come in a few moments. This effort is also made so that the ideal of realizing a Dignified Malang City through strengthening the morals and mentality of the residents can be realized.
The movement to pray in congregation at the beginning of the time is a follow-up to the government's appeal to school students which was welcomed by the community, so that they proposed that this positive thing could be done by the entire community.
Abah Anton emphasized that this appeal is not mandatory, but only a moral invitation to fill the mosque at these two times. Specifically for government agencies within the Malang City Government, Abah Anton also asked all heads of SKPD to really carry out this instruction as an example to the public.
"So I hope that you, both government officials and others, will not be surprised if there is an appeal like that," he said.
The steps taken by the Malang City Government to strengthen the morals and ethics of the community are also carried out on school children. Abah Anton on this special occasion also expressed his deep concern about the deviations committed by minors lately.
Moreover, the current flow of globalization and information cannot be stopped, coupled with the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), so it is necessary for the Malang City Government to anticipate and minimize inappropriate actions by minors.
"Although there are no cases in Malang City, we need to anticipate it. Crime can happen anytime and anywhere. Therefore, we must always be vigilant," he said.
Not only that, ahead of the arrival of the month of Ramadan, the Malang City Government will also issue a circular that all entertainment venues are closed to respect the meaning of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
