Starfruit, MC – The Polehan Community Empowerment Agency (BKM), Polehan Village, Blimbing District, Malang City finally emerged as the first winner in the Community Empowerment Competition at the Community-Based Settlement Environment Planning (PLPBK) location throughout East Java 2016 which was held by the East Java Province Building and Environmental Planning Work Unit, Tuesday (31/5).
The announcement of the winners is based on the decision of the assessment board meeting number: UM.02.06.Cb-05/PBL/2016 dated May 30, 2016.
The BKM of Polehan Village managed to excel over other BKM of villages such as the BKM Peduli of Nginden Jangkungan Village, Surabaya, the BKM Sido Makmur of Sidoluhur Village, Malang Regency, the BKM Sejahtera Abadi of Karanglo, Pasuruan Regency, and the BKM Harapan Makmur of Blitar Regency.
This positive achievement adds to the long list of achievements that Malang City has managed to achieve, both at regional, national and even international levels.
Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji greatly appreciates the achievements of BKM Polehan, Polehan Village at the East Java Province level. According to him, this achievement is the result of synergy between the community, government and all stake holders in developing Malang City.
"Hopefully this achievement can trigger the birth of other achievements, so that in addition to bringing pride to the people, it is also proof of the government's commitment to development," said Sutiaji.
The Community Empowerment Competition at the PLPBK location is part of the campaign and education carried out by the East Java Province Building and Environmental Planning Work Unit. (say/yon)
