Taking the Oath, Civil Servants Must Maintain Discipline and Have a Sense of Responsibility

Breadfruit, MC – After passing the trial period and finally officially appointed as civil servants, CPNS Malang City who have sworn the oath/promise of civil servants must show good performance. Because on the shoulders of civil servants the good and bad of government services in Malang City are burdened, Tuesday (31/5).

In the PNS oath-taking held at the Balai Merdeka of Merdeka University Malang, Tuesday (31/5), Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji requested that PNS can truly work professionally. He conveyed that the demands of the community are currently increasing, namely the demand for services that are increasingly good, easy, fast, transparent and accountable.

"The PNS oath not only has the consequence of being able to carry out the best duties before humans, but also before Allah SWT," explained Sutiaji, Tuesday (31/5).

Sutiaji also emphasized that this trust is a responsibility to be able to serve and provide the best service to the community. "Maintain discipline, do not neglect your duties and obligations, let alone violate the law and the oath of office," he said.

By working well and professionally, it is expected that the image of state civil servants who have integrity will become the main capital to maintain the authority of the government. Where with an increasingly advanced society, better performance is needed from all government apparatus in Malang City.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) of Malang City, Drs. Subkhan, said that the PNS oath-taking was attended by 565 PNS. They consisted of 384 employees from group III, 181 employees from group II and 50 employees from group I. "We hope that by taking the oath, all PNS in Malang City can work professionally," said Subkhan. (cah/yon)
