Klojen, MC – In the morning assembly at Malang City Hall, Monday (6/6), the Mayor of Malang appealed to all State Civil Apparatus to pause their routines for 10 minutes when it is time for Dhuhur and Ashar prayers to perform congregational prayers. This appeal is stated in the Circular Letter of the Mayor of Malang Number: 222/SE/1397/35.73.133/2016 Concerning the Appeal to Perform Congregational Prayers.
"This aims to increase our faith and piety and gratitude to Allah SWT, especially in the Holy Month of Ramadan," said the Mayor, who is often called Abah Anton.
"In addition, I also hope that ASN in Malang City can be an example and role model for the people of Malang City in order to make this appeal a success," he added.
The emergence of the circular and appeal to perform congregational prayers at the beginning of the time was also a souvenir from Abah Anton when he carried out a working visit to Türkiye some time ago.
"There, the appeal has been successfully implemented, and the impact is very positive, especially in suppressing negative things and problems in society, so I adopted the program so that Malang City can also imitate this positive program," he explained.
