Klojen, MC – In 2016, Malang City will receive a new predicate from the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism as a Halal Tourism City. The predicate is a form of recognition for the existence of the culinary world in Malang City.

"We will continue to strive so that the predicate of Halal Tourism City can be accepted by Malang City, because Malang City deserves to receive the predicate as a form of realization of our vision, namely the Dignified City of Malang," said Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton, Tuesday (7/7).
Abah Anton, as the Mayor of Malang is familiarly called, said that if Malang City gets the title of Halal Tourism City, then the potential for creative economy in the culinary sector can also increase. "So that later new culinary entrepreneurs will emerge in Malang City to support the creative industry in our city," he added.
"The predicate will further strengthen the position of this city (Malang), in accordance with its vision as a dignified city. This is a source of pride for us, and must receive support from all parties," added the PKB politician.
Furthermore, Abah Anton also advised all his staff to immediately close ranks to welcome the award. "Not only the community, the Malang City Government must make various improvements in all aspects," he concluded. (say/yon)
