Klojen, MC – Filling the month of Ramadan 1437 H with positive activities, the Malang City Government held a joint breaking of the fast in order to facilitate the friendship of ulama and umara as well as providing assistance to orphans at the Baiturrohim Mosque, Malang City Hall, Thursday (9/6).
On this occasion, the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, together with his wife and all SKPD in the Malang City Government also provided assistance to orphans. This assistance was given to 500 orphans from various areas in Malang City.
The Mayor of Malang, who is familiarly called Abah Anton by Malang residents, said that this charity activity is a routine agenda held every Ramadan.
"Alhamdulillah, we still meet the month of Ramadan, hopefully in the coming year we will meet again," said Abah Anton, Thursday (9/6).
Abah Anton also advised the children present not to give up quickly and to always try. Abah Anton also said that since childhood he was an orphan, but he continued to try, pray and work hard.
“I have experienced how difficult it is to be an orphan. "I hope these children don't give up quickly," hoped Abah Anton.
With hard work and always praying, Abah Anton said these children will be able to achieve success in the future. (cah/yon)
