Klojen, MC – The Aksara Tumapel Malang Foundation in the month of Ramadan 1437 H this time again held a breaking of the fast together and shared with orphans and the poor in the hall at the Malang City Public Library and Regional Archives Office, Saturday Friday (10/6).
This activity, which is the result of collaboration with the Malang City Government and entrepreneurs, also marks the 11th anniversary of the establishment of the Aksara Tumapel Malang Foundation.
The chairman of the event committee, M. Taufik, said that this breaking of the fast together event was a form of gratitude from the Aksara Tumapel Foundation and was also expected to be a means of fostering friendship.
"Usually for breaking the fast together, we give parcels to 200 orphans and the poor. Alhamdulillah this year the number has increased to 400 parcels," said Taufik, Friday (10/6).
The increasing number of parcels, as stated by Taufik, cannot be separated from the increasing number of entrepreneurs in Malang City who care about activities like this, and is a form of trust given to the Aksara Tumapel Foundation.
The existence of this activity is also a form of preaching to invite people to care more about others. And from activities like this, social sensitivity is increasingly sharpened. (cah/yon)
