Klojen, MC – The Ramadan Cheap Market held by the Malang City Government through the Regional Economy and Business Section of the Malang City Regional Secretariat was enthusiastically welcomed by Malang City residents, Wednesday (15/6). This can be seen from the number of visitors who crowded the stands in the area outside the Gajayana Stadium in Malang.

At the Ramadan Cheap Market in collaboration with Bank Indonesia Malang, people can buy various basic necessities at affordable prices.
Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton in his speech after opening the Ramadan Cheap Market said that this cheap market activity is intended to help ease the burden of people's lives by providing various basic necessities at affordable prices.
"This cheap market is held to suppress the prices of basic necessities in the market so that they do not soar too high," explained the man who is often called Abah Anton, Wednesday (15/6).
In addition to various basic necessities, the cheap market which will be held until Friday (17/6) also sells various agricultural products, crafts, and various souvenirs typical of Malang.
One of the visitors, Hariadi, said he deliberately came to the Ramadan Cheap Market because according to him the goods sold here are very affordable. "I went to the Ramadan market to buy rice, clothes and cakes for Eid. The prices are indeed cheaper than in the market," said Hariadi. (cah/yon)
