The event held at the BPJS Employment Office, Malang Branch, Jl. Dr Sutomo No. 1 Klojen, Malang City, also invited staff and BPJS leaders in Malang City, Malang Regency and Batu City or commonly called Malang Raya.

While waiting for breaking the fast, the event was filled with religious sermons containing the wisdom of Ramadan, the pleasure of charity, and the importance of Islamic brotherhood. Although this activity was packaged simply, it did not reduce the solemnity of the event, so that everything could run solemnly.

Head of BPJS Employment Malang Branch, Sri Subekti, SE said that this event was also to improve Islamic brotherhood, especially among employees and company leaders in Malang Raya.

"The month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings, so we also want to share with those in need, such as orphans, the poor, and residents of social institutions," he explained, Friday (17/6).

The woman who is familiarly called Beti said that the event held was only for orphans, and at the end of June it was planned to go to orphanages and social homes to distribute aid.

"We hold this social activity regularly, and not only during the month of Ramadan, we are all committed to always sharing with each other," he added.

"Every time we set aside a little of our fortune that is put into a charity box in the office (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan), and every time it seems sufficient, it is opened to be distributed. This commitment, thank God, has been responded well by all employees, so that social activities run routinely. Thus, in addition to there being a caring nature, there is also togetherness between employees and company leaders, and precisely when providing assistance," explained Beti.

The bespectacled woman further said that she hopes this program can run forever, so that the bonds of brotherhood and sense of caring are maintained until the end of time.

"With the prayers of orphans and the poor and the community in general, of course we hope that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan can work well and can provide maximum service to the community," concluded Beti. (say/yon)
