Jakarta, MC – Chairman of the Executive Board of the Habitat Partnership, Dr. Ir. Wicaksono Sarosa invited the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton along with all related SKPD ranks to attend various presentations from the Indonesian Philanthropy Association.

The event is in order to support the realization of safe, habitable and sustainable settlements and cities based on the principle of partnership and to facilitate the City of Malang in preparing a program for universal access to drinking water, sanitation and slum-free areas.
The activity was held on Wednesday (22/6) at the National Secretariat Building of Habitat Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Present at the event were the Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Malang City, the Head of the Cleanliness and Parks Service (DKP) of Malang City and from PDAM Malang City.
Habitat Partnership is a non-governmental organization that functions as a driving force and facilitator that will encourage collaboration between stakeholders and assist local governments to utilize potential in efforts to realize habitable and sustainable settlements.
Through the Malang City Priority Program Towards a Sustainable City which is implemented through cooperation between the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, the Malang City Government, and the Habitat Partnership, it is hoped that the development carried out in the slum areas in Malang City can be realized soon.
"Through this program, I hope that Malang City, which has become pilot project The 100-0-100 program can further accelerate development in slum areas, so that Malang City becomes more comfortable and livable," said Abah Anton, the nickname of Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton. (say/yon)
