Lowokwaru, MC – In an effort to reduce poverty rates in Indonesia, the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs has created a pilot program to empower poor communities and started in Malang City.

One of the programs is a non-cash kiosk service or e-shop Joint Business Group (KUBE)-Family Hope Program (PKH) of the Prosperous Indonesian Community Cooperative (KMIS) which was inaugurated on Jl Ikan Tombro, Malang City, Monday (27/6).
Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, revealed that Malang City was chosen as a pilot location. e-shop because this city (Malang) has adequate facilities and a supportive government.
"Through e-shop "We want to reduce the poverty rate in Indonesia. Through the BISA card facilitated by BNI, empowering the poor towards a prosperous society can be realized," said Minister Khofifah.
E-Shop could be a breakthrough to close the possibility of cuts in aid funds to the poor and reduce poverty rates through joint efforts. Assistance is provided directly by direct transfer to the recipient's account.
With the BISA Card from BNI, it can be a savings and non-cash transaction tool. Currently, the Family Hope Program (PKH) funds from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs that have been disbursed have reached Rp 1,6 trillion, with a total value of PKH social assistance of 9,8 trillion and will be increased to Rp 12,7 trillion in 2017.
