Klojen, MC – 43 Echelon II, III, and IV officials within the Malang City Government have taken their oath and inaugurated directly by the Mayor of Malang H. Moch. Anton in the Malang City Hall Meeting Room, Monday (18/7).
Several structural officials who were inaugurated were Dr. Handi Priyanto, AP, M.Si who took a new position as Expert Staff for Community and Human Resources, Drs. Sugiharto served as Head of the National Unity and Politics Agency of Malang City, Drs. Nuzul Nurcahyono as Head of the Youth and Sports Agency of Malang City, and other structural officials of the Malang City Government.
In his remarks, the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch Anton, stated that this inauguration was based on the principles of proportionality, competence, and paying close attention to the track record of the inaugurated officials in carrying out their duties so far.
"I emphasize, there is no element of liking or disliking in this job placement process. All of them pay attention to the principles of propriety and eligibility as the spirit contained in the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus," he explained.
"If the performance system can be built strongly, the work ethic and work culture move in an integrated manner, regulations can be enforced well, and organizational solidity can be presented strongly," added the man who is familiarly called Abah Anton.
The PKB politician emphasized the mandate of the President of the Republic of Indonesia that it is time for us to pay more attention to the aspect of results than the process. Where in the single narrative issued by the presidential team it is emphasized that local governments in particular are often busy with things that are process-based, so that goals and results cannot be achieved optimally.
At the end of his speech, Abah Anton advised that the image of the city government and even the image of Malang City is also very much determined by the capability, competence and professionalism in working. No matter how small the problem that can affect the image of the institution, it will certainly affect our steps forward.
"Therefore, the image of the Malang City Government is very much determined by our attitude, behavior, actions, speech, and the quality of our services in the implementation of government, development and community services," he said.
"To all ranks of SKPD in the Malang City Government environment along with the civil apparatus within it, I advise you to always maintain unity, uphold the spirit of esprit de corps as best you can, and be oriented towards benefits rather than just results," concluded Abah Anton. (say/yon)
