Klojen, MC – The existence of the Malang City tourist bus or commonly called the Macito Bus (Malang City Tour) and school buses became a special attraction for the national Wahana Tata Nugraha (WTN) jury. Curious about the free fleet, the WTN jury team specifically saw Macyto and the free school buses of the Malang City Government, Tuesday (26/7).
Head of the Malang City Transportation Agency, Kusnadi, S.Sos admitted that the existence of free tourist buses and school buses in Malang City provides added value for the city (Malang) in front of the WTN jury. With the existence of this free mass transportation, the opportunity for Malang City to win the WTN Award again is even greater.
"The jury came to Malang City today and immediately conducted an assessment. Tomorrow (Wednesday (27/7) the jury will present the assessment results," explained Kusnadi, Tuesday (26/7).
Kusnadi added that the WTN jury could not be dictated by the Malang City Government or any other party when conducting the assessment. Therefore, as soon as they arrived in Malang City, the WTN jury immediately looked around various corners of Malang City.
"The assessment route is carried out by the jury itself, we cannot interfere. What is clear is that Malang City has made maximum preparations, now we just have to wait for the results," said Kusnadi.
The assessment criteria carried out by the jury regarding WTN include public discipline on the highway, traffic signs, road markings, street vendor arrangements, and traffic signs that are covered by advertisements.
"In my heart I am sure that Malang City will be able to achieve WTN this year (2016). But how about the result, now let's wait for the jury's decision," concluded Kusnadi. (cah/yon)
