Malang, MC – Air Force Women (Wara) as TNI AU soldiers are required at all times to be firm, brave, disciplined and responsible and be able to behave politely with noble character. In addition, they must also have personality and uphold the noble values of Indonesian women's culture.

At least those are some of the things that were conveyed by the Chairperson of PIA (Association of Members' Wives) Ardhya Garini Branch 3 Region II Mrs. Atik Djoko Senoputro as Deputy Mrs. Winayadhati Kanyasena Region II Koopsau II at the face-to-face and halalbihalal event with Wara members at Abdulrachman Saleh Malang Air Force Base along with Insub, (27/7).
"Although Wara is a soldier who is ready to fight on the battlefield if needed, her feminine nature must still be considered. Wara must still have the personality of an Indonesian woman who has knowledge and skills, and has abilities in the fields of tradition, protocol and social communication, and so on," he explained.
Wara is advised to be able to carry out positive activities that can be an example of a woman who remains consistent in maintaining her feminine nature. More than that, she must also be able to avoid things that can harm and tarnish the good name of herself, her family, her environment and her office.
As an Air Srikandi who always faces dynamics in the field with high discipline, he continued, Wara must have a figure full of gentleness, polite in behavior, and full of affection for family and the environment.
"Especially for those who are married, they must carry out their duties earnestly and live the household with its noble nature such as raising children and serving their husbands with full sincerity. Then a harmonious household atmosphere will be created, far from problems that can certainly support their official duties," explained Atik.
Outside of duty, he said, Wara must still appear neat, beautiful and confident. That is why the Head of PIA Lanud Abd. Saleh on that occasion invited speakers from Malang City to provide lessons on beautifying themselves by using appropriate and harmonious make-up for the Female members of the Air Force Lanud Abd. Saleh.
At the end of the event, the PIA Chairman accompanied by the administrators gave awards and souvenirs to Wara who excelled in sports and other fields. (say/yon)
