Jambi, MC – Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton continued the series of events of the 28th National Conference (Munas) of the Association of Indonesian City Governments (Apeksi) in Jambi City. Yesterday, Thursday (7/XNUMX), the Mayor of Malang, who is familiarly called Abah Anton, took part in the tree planting activity together with the mayors in the Muhammad Sabki City Forest, Jambi City.

Abah Anton had the opportunity to plant a typical fruit tree of Malang City, while the Mayor of Jambi H. Syarif Fasha, ME planted a Rengas tree which is a characteristic of Jambi. The Rengas tree is widely used for furniture, pillars, and also house beams.
After carrying out the tree planting action, the Mayor of Jambi invited all mayors participating in the 11th Apeksi National Conference to tour part of the city forest which is approximately XNUMX hectares in size.
Abah Anton himself was very impressed because in a city there is still a forest in the middle of a large city like in the Muhammad Sabki City Forest. "A city forest this large is very good and representative, especially as a supporter of Green Open Space (RTH)," he said.
He added, in Malang City the existence of the Malabar City Forest is also a representation of the existence of a forest in the middle of the city which adds green open space as mandated by law. (say/yon)
