Klojen, MC – Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton officially inaugurated Dr. Idrus Achmad, M.Si as the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City, Monday (1/8). The Oath-taking and Inauguration of the High-Level Officials in the Malang City Government was carried out in the Meeting Room of Malang City Hall.
Deputy Mayor of Malang, Chairman of the Malang City DPRD, Chair of the Malang City PKK Team and all Heads of SKPD within the Malang City Government were also present at the inauguration.
In his speech, Malang Mayor H. Moch. Anton said that the role of a regional secretary is not only to carry out internal consolidation steps, but must also be able to capture the pulse and psychology of the Malang City community, so that the color of the Malang City bureaucracy truly reflects local wisdom that is manifested in its budget posture.
"The goal is a spirit to bring every activity that exists to be truly principled." 'money follows program' and not only 'money follows function' "As the President often emphasizes," said the man who is often called Abah Anton.
"And I believe, it will be able to be done by Mr. Idrus Achmad, who is a citizen of Arema. Hopefully he can work well later," he added.
In the future, the PKB politician explained, the challenges that will be faced will not be lighter. The variety of community needs will continue to increase quantitatively and qualitatively. On the other hand, Malang City in its development is increasingly trusted by the central government as one of the centers of economic growth, especially in the East Java region.
Answering all of that, a strong bureaucracy is needed. A bureaucracy that is based on the spirit of service, places change as an inevitability. So that what is encouraged is professionalism, creativity and innovation in every movement.
"That role, which I greatly hope, can be continuously developed by the Regional Secretary as the highest captain in the bureaucratic line in the Malang City Government environment," he hoped.
He also advised that the ranks of SKPD in the Malang City Government can help and provide support and move dynamically in the swing of the steps of the newly inaugurated regional secretary yesterday. (say/yon)
