Klojen, MC – In an effort to provide education about the importance of cooperatives, the Malang City Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Service (Diskop & UKM) held a Socialization of the Cooperative Awareness Community Movement in Commemoration of the 69th National Cooperative Day, Tuesday (2/8).

Approximately 300 participants consisting of village heads, sub-district heads, LPMK (Sub-district Community Empowerment Institution_ed), and the Malang City community attended the event held at the Ollino Garden Hotel, Malang.
In the socialization attended by the Head of the Cooperatives and SMEs Service of East Java Province, Dr. Ir. I Made Sukartha, CES and General Manager of Telkom Malang, this was also carried out at the same time launching Digital UKM Village is currently one of the mainstay icons of Malang City.
Head of the Cooperative Institutional Division of the Malang City Cooperatives & SMEs Office, Alwiyah, said that with the Socialization of the Cooperative Awareness Community Movement (Gemaskop) in the Context of Commemorating the 69th Cooperative Day, the people of Malang City can better understand and know the importance of cooperatives.
"The hope is that after participating in this activity, both government officials and the people of Malang City will be more aware of the importance of establishing a business with a legal entity," explained Alwi, Tuesday (2/8).
Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City Cooperatives & SMEs Office, Dra. Anita Sukmawati, said that this event was a form of activity to raise public awareness to form cooperatives. She said that the Malang City Cooperatives & SMEs Office has continued to strive to advance cooperatives to continue to improve the welfare of the community.
