Lowokwaru, MC – The Malang City Communication and Information Service (Kominfo) held an Interactive Dialogue on Environmental Care with the theme 'Environmentally Aware, Achieving Achievement' in the hall of the Lowokwaru District Office, Malang City, Monday (15/8).
This activity was held in line with the achievement of several awards in the environmental field by Malang City in 2016 and to invite all elements of society to be more aware and care about the environment.
In this dialogue inviting the community, the Malang City Communication and Information Service deliberately presented competent speakers including from the Malang City Cleanliness and Parks Service (DKP), the Malang City Environmental Agency (BLH) and Dr. Gamal Albinsaid who is a young doctor full of achievements who recently received the Kalpataru Award in the Environmental Pioneer Category and an award from Prince Charles.
Gamal said, we should not let our youth pass us by, we must live it all as best we can on the path of Allah SWT.
"After winning the Kalpataru award some time ago in Siak, now I want to continue campaigning for waste insurance for health," said Gamal, Monday (15/8).
Through this route, it is hoped that underprivileged people can obtain health services by utilizing waste that is usually just thrown away.
"Currently, our steps are getting more support, including from the Environmental Agency (BLH) of Malang City. This makes us even more enthusiastic," explained Gamal.
According to him, to achieve success in running a program, the most important thing is not to consider achievement as a goal. But rather from the achievements achieved should make someone more enthusiastic to be able to continue to do something useful and bring benefits to the wider community. (cah/yon)
