Klojen, MC – There is good news for people who use train transportation services, because the Singosari Ekspres business class train with the Surabaya-Malang route officially started operating, Friday (19/8).
Executive Vice President of PT KAI Operations Area (Daops) 8, Wiwik Widayanti confirming that starting Friday (19/8) the Singosari Ekspres Train officially operates. This train runs the Surabaya Gubeng-Malang (Kota Baru Station) route and vice versa.
"The Singosari Ekspres train runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This train consists of five business classes with 320 seats," Wiwik explained, Friday (19/8).
Singosari Ekspres is scheduled to depart from Surabaya Gubeng Station at 09.55 WIB and arrive at Kota Baru Malang Station at 13.15 WIB. The train then returns to Surabaya and arrives at Gubeng Station at 15.14 WIB.
On the way to Surabaya, this train stops at Wonokromo, Sidoarjo, Bangil, Lawang and Malang. Meanwhile on the way back, it stops at Lawang, Bangil, Sidoarjo, Wonokromo and ends at Gubeng.
Wiwik added, PT KAI deliberately operated the Singosari Ekspres Train after seeing the many people's enthusiasm to Malang City from Surabaya during the weekend. Therefore, by operating this train, it is hoped that it can be the best solution for people who want to use train services to Malang City and vice versa to Surabaya. (cah/yon)
