Klojen, MC – In order to enliven the 71st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Malang City Regional Secretariat held typical August competitions.
Present at the celebration held in the pool area of the Malang City Recreation Park (Tareko) were the Mayor of Malang H. Moch Anton, the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP, Hj. Dewi Farida Suryani, along with all Heads of SKPD within the Malang City Government.
According to the Assistant for General Administration of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Yudhi K. Ismawardi, SH, M.Hum, this activity was carried out not only in the context of celebrating the 71st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, but also as a form of increasing the sense of togetherness among employees in the Malang City Regional Secretariat.
"What is also interesting about this August competition is that all the competitions are held in the City Recreation Park swimming pool, so the concept is to get wet," he added.
In this activity, various competitions were held, including a marble competition won by the Public Relations Division, a balloon bursting competition won by Satpol PP, a leaky water jug filling competition won by the General Division, a competition obese rolling competition won by the DPRD Secretariat, and eel holding competition won by the General Section.
No less interesting is the eel catching competition, because as soon as the eel is released into the pond by the Head of the Malang City PKK TP, in an instant the participants compete with each other to catch the eel which is of course slippery when held.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton, said that competitions like this could also be used as a means refreshing for ASN Pemkot Malang who are always busy with work every day. "Refreshing the mind is very necessary, so that civil servants can improve their performance," he explained. (say/yon)
