The event, which carries the theme 'From the Outskirts Weaving National Culture', will feature a variety of traditional games, art performances, puppets, talk shows, history competitions, workshops, exhibitions, and music performances. Supporting activities Malang Art Week is also ready to invite all young people to be actively involved in brightening up the city.

The event, which is planned to be held on September 1-5, will focus on three main locations, namely the Malang Regency Hall, Taman Krida Budaya, and Malang State University. The three locations were chosen based on accessibility and the available land area. This is because this activity will actively involve the people of Malang City and its surroundings.

"This activity must involve many parties, not only from the Directorate General of Culture, but also cultural communities in Malang and the surrounding areas," said Hilmar while leading a meeting at Building E, Setditjen, Kemdikbud, some time ago.

The importance of introducing the diversity of Indonesian culture to the wider community is considered to be one of the efforts to preserve the cultural treasures that we have. Culture is no longer a complement or tradition that has existed since ancient times, but rather a civilization where culture becomes a pillar that forms the identity of its people. Because in fact, by knowing, studying, and preserving the cultural treasures that are owned, it will encourage the growth of a sense of nationality, tolerance, and an attitude of mutual respect among the nation's children.
