Kedungkandang, MC – Deputy Mayor of Malang Drs. Sutiaji sent off the group of residents walking on Jl. Danau Tigi RW 08, Lesanpuro Village, Kedungkandang District, Malang City, Sunday (28/8).
This walk is part of a series of events to commemorate the 71st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia held by local residents. This is also one proof of the solidarity and togetherness of the residents.
In his speech and direction, Sutiaji said that this event was a form of gratitude for the independence that the heroes had fought for. "Therefore, as citizens, we must fill our independence well," he said.
One way to fill independence is to strengthen the bonds of unity among fellow citizens by setting aside the nature of sectoral ego and egoism. "The purpose of filling this independence is none other than so that society can be together and united," added the PKB politician.
He also invited all elements of society to remain compact and united in any matter. On this occasion, Sutiaji also provided assistance in the form of a refrigerator and inaugurated a joglo made by residents. (say/yon)
