Surabaya, MC – The Head of the Malang City Scout Movement Branch Advisory Council (Mabicab) who is also the Mayor of Malang, H. Moch. Anton received the Dharma Bakti Badge award from the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) of the Republic of Indonesia, Puan Maharani.
This award was received at the 55th East Java Scout Day Grand Assembly at the Eastern Region Indonesian Fleet Command Headquarters, Surabaya, Sunday (4/9).
The man who is familiarly called Abah Anton said that his party will continue to support and develop the Malang City Branch Scout Movement (Kwarcab) so that it continues to exist and achieve.
"Thank you for this award. I hope that Pramuka can show more of its existence in developing the creativity of the nation's children for the progress of Indonesia in the future," said Abah Anton.
Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Puan Maharani, who acted as the ceremony inspector, in her speech asked the Scouts to be at the forefront in fostering a pioneering spirit for progress. Minister Puan hopes that in the future the young generation of Indonesia will be a great generation.
"Today's young generation, including Scouts, are faced with various challenges in the dynamics of rapid world change along with the rapid flow of globalization, global competition, and technological advances," he explained.
Present at this event were East Java Governor Soekarwo, Deputy Governor Syaifullah Yusuf, Commander of the Indonesian Eastern Fleet Command Rear Admiral TNI Darwanto, Chairman of the East Java Scout Movement, and the East Java Provincial Muspida. (say/yon)
